Hello!

I got the following message :
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4032 bytes of shared memory ("shared
pool","java/util/LocaleSYS","joxlod: in ehe","ioc_allocate_pal")

I wanted to compile a java source.

The problem appears under Oracle 8.17 on a solaris machine.
Its works fine with Oracle 9@LINUX and Oracle 8.17@Windows2000.

So I think it could be a configuration issu.

Someone has any idea how to resolve the problem??

Increase your JAVA_POOL_SIZE and try again.

JAVA_POOL_SIZE is an init< sid >.ora parameter.
Increase it considerably and bounce the database
and
did u install Oracle JVM options?
