dear friends,
Is it possible to install oracle 8 on windows 2000 professional version. I tried to install it. but iam
getting the error "TNS: unable to connect" and
some other TNS erros when try to login .
what is wrong with the installation

Hi,

i have install a Oracle 8i server on Windows 2000 professional. But I donīt have any problems. Check your ODBC with the file "tnsnames".
If I getting the error "TNS:unable to connect", I know that I have a wrong ODBC connection.

I hope it works!
