Hi all:
I need to use sqlldr on my oracle client machine(unix box), but my system admin sail the sqlldr is only exist on oracle server machine. For some special reason, we don't want to mount two machine together. I would like to know if it is possible to have sqlldr available on client machine too?
Thanks very much in advance.

The problem is that the data in the EQUIPMENT_CODE
section of record 1 exceeds 255 characters.
This causes a problem in SQL loader.
The solution(i think) is to extent the number
of characters SQL loader can inport.
The folowing posting I about the same error:
Varchar2 over 255 bytes using SQL*Loader - Martin 05:21:29 8/13/99 (0)
If you find a solution could you please contact
me as I am suffering from the same problem
